Prof. Tan received the College of Engineering and Polymer Science (CEPS) The Chemstress Outstanding Teacher Award for recognition of exceptional teaching, dedication and service to the college. This award was led by a selection committee of Tau Beta Pi consisting of 17 undergraduate students in selecting the recipient.
