Prof. Tan led 6 students to successfully complete the NSF-funded IRES Project in Composite Materials. The students learnt inter-cultural research skillsets and achieved outstanding research outcomes. They will present their work in ASME IMECE 2026 in Vancouver, Canada in November 2026.
